Clonal expression of Akt1T342D.UAS.Tag:HA under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP in the larval fat body does not significantly affect nuclei sizes, as compared to neighboring control cells. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4r4 does not effect the apparent size or weight of pupae, as compared to controls.

The expression of Tl10b.UAS.cUa under the control of Scer\GAL4r4 leads to smaller pupae with lower weight, whereas clonal expression under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP in the larval fat body induces induces smaller cells; both cases are substantially suppressed by the co-expression of Akt1T342D.UAS.Tag:HA.
