Expression appears to be ubiquitous in the mushroom body, but is actually observed only in a small subset of Kenyon cells, which are dispersed in the pedunculus and all lobes of the mushroom body. Additionally, expression is observed in a pair of interior neurons with large cell bodies in the posterior cortex of the brain. These neurons cross the neuropil at the edge of the fan-shaped body and branch into the γ and α' lobes. Representative images can be seen in Figures 4 and 5 of FBrf0105251.

Expressed in clusters of mushroom body neurons that project to the median and lateral bundles. Expression in the corpora pedunculata (mushroom body) includes all known substructures (but may not include all neurons).
