Deletes the heat shock puff at 87C. Breakpoints are close to 87D3--87D4 and 87A4--87A5 although these bands are not deleted.

Left limit of break 1 from non-inclusion of Hsp70Aa (citation unavailable) Limits of break 2 from polytene analysis (citation unavailable)

Affected Genes Inferred by Location (0)
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large. The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason, and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions. You can contact FlyBase for more help.
In these cases, there will be no "Export to Hitlist" button to the left.
    Phenotypic Data
    In combination with other aberrations
NOT in combination with other aberrations

Heterozygotes have significantly decreased levels of 7-monoenes in males, and of 7-monoenes and 7,11-dienes in females. The decrease in 7-unsaturated hydrocarbons is paralleled with an increase in linear saturated hydrocarbons.

Homozygous embryos die before hatching and have a series of abnormal traits, including the almost complete absence of visible tracheae.
