    Pattern deletions restricted to specific distal parts of the adult appendages: antennae, proboscis, wings, halteres and three pairs of legs. Discs differ from wild type: cell death occurs in regions corresponding to a centrally localised fold in the third instar discs and specific folds are not made in rn discs.
