    A hobo inserted into the proximal inversion breakpoint has been subcloned into pUC18, with a ry gene that has broken the hobo element (presumably eliminating the production of hobo encoded polypeptides) to make the construct H{har1}.

    A 3kb hobo is present at one of the inversion junctions. A BamHI-HindII fragment spanning the hobo is used to make H{har1}.
