    X/0 males are lethal (relative viability of 0.01), X/Y males have reduced viability (relative viability of 0.26). Levels of maternal nondisjunction are high. Males are sterile. Recovery of male lethals is reduced when in combination with E(var)71 : the Y-suppressed lethality is a variegated position effect.
