Affected Genes Inferred by Location (0)
If no genes are listed here, it may be because the affected region is very large. The JBrowse insert above may show an error for the same reason, and other FlyBase tools such as CytoSearch may also fail for large regions. You can contact FlyBase for more help.
In these cases, there will be no "Export to Hitlist" button to the left.

Consists of two inversions, In(1)sc8 (an inversion of 1B2-3;20F) and In(1)dl-49 (an inversion of 4D7-E1;11F2-4). The two together have been called "In(1)sc[8]+dl-49".

    Other Comments

In(1)sc8 and In(1)dl-49 were independently recombined together at least three times with different markers present. One isolate was called FM1 ("FM1" is now used for all three recombinants). It has the markers y[31d] sc[8] w[a] lz[S] Bar[1]. The other two independent isolates are listed here under their original symbols. FM0 : y[31d] sc[8] w[1] v[Of] m[2] f[1] Bar[1] (now called FM1, w[1] lz[+] v[Of] m[2] f[1]). M6-ML y[31d] sc[8] w[a] v[Of] f[1] (now called FM1, lz[+] v[Of] f[1] Bar[+]). Note that an early publication (and subsequently Lindsley and Zimm, FBrf0066905) reported that FM0 carried cv[1], but this was an error.

Effective in eliminating recombination with X chromosomes in normal sequence.
