    Df(2L)Cos-3R+3, Df(2L)Cos-3R+5 and Df(2L)Cos-3R+6 are lethal in all pairwise combinations.

    NOT in combination with other aberrations

    Df(2L)Cos-3R+3, Df(2L)Cos-3R+5 and Df(2L)Cos-3R+6 homozygotes and transheterozygotes show lethality in the embryonic stages. The affected embryos are U-shaped, due to the deletion of a gene close to, but distinct from, Pka-C1. Viable when transheterozygous with "Cos" neomorphic alleles, and viable and phenotypically wild type when transheterozygous with "Cos" revertant alleles and (cos-) Df(2R)CA58.
