    Excision of the P{lacW}tunM22 insertion, resulting in an approximately 17kb deletion which extends from 131bp upstream of the Poxn start codon in exon 2 to 730bp proximal of the duplicated insertion site of the excised P{lacW} element. The deletion completely removes CG8249.
