    Rear escapers of In(3R)X12 display thickened wing veins and eye defects including disorganized ommatidia and duplication of interommatidial bristles, tufted bristles affecting dorsocentral or sternopleural bristles, or the vibrissae. In addition, embryonic lethality is observed with typical neurogenic phenotypes ranging from very mild to intermediate.
