Reference

Partially suppresses the bulD phenotype. Transheterozygotes with bul1 are viable with a rough eye phenotype. Transheterozygotes with argosΔ7 are semi-lethal, surviving adults display an eye phenotype.

Comments

Homozygotes occur with 1% of expected frequency. Surviving homozygotes vigorous and male fertility high; females lay eggs abundantly, but only rarely does an egg hatch.
