RK2. Macrochaetae are thinner and slightly reduced in length compared to wild-type flies, and occasionally a scutellar bristle is missing. The pattern of thoracic microchaetae is deranged. The number of abdominal microchaetae is frequently reduced in homozygous females and the tergites are occasionally abnormal.
Bristles thin and slightly shortened; occasional missing scutellar. Acrostichals deranged. Abdominal hairs of female frequently missing; tergites occasionally abnormal. Classification difficult. Viability and fertility good.
