      The abdomen is extremely abnormal with grossly deformed segmentation, very few microchaetae and disturbed pigmentation. Some macrochaetae are occasionally reduced in length. Eyes are reduced in size and sometimes abnormal in shape. Male viability is approximately 10% of wild-type.
