At 18oC homozygous males and females exhibit reduced bristle length and thickness, often the posterior verticals and posterior scutellars are missing. Wing shows incisions on the inner margin and wing veins are netted at the distal ends.
Lethality occurs during larval and pupal stages. Individuals survive at 25oC or 28oC when Dp(1;4)wm65g is present.
