      Homozygous lethal at all temperatures. l(2)DTS201/+ flies die when raised at 29oC, but survive development at 25oC. The lethal phase is during the late pupal stage. l(2)DTS201/+/+ heterozygotes survive development at 29oC. Heterozygotes raised at 25oC show abnormal chitin development on the dorsal surface of abdomen.
