      Homozygotes lethal at all temperatures. l(2)DTS61/+ flies die when raised at 29oC, but survive development at 25oC. l(2)DTS61/+/+ heterozygotes survive development at 29oC. The temperature-sensitive period of the heterozygote is 144-192 hours, the lethal phase is 190-210 hours of development.
