Females are almost sterile at 22oC. Shows a dominant Minute phenotype. Heterozygotes die as pupae at 29oC. The temperature-sensitive period is during the larval stages. Heterozygotes raised at 22oC have a longer developmental time than wild-type by 4 to 6 days.
