FlyBase curator comment: The ‘l(4)102CDd’ locus was initially defined as a gene with two alleles, l(4)102CDd[1] and l(4)102CDd[2], that failed to complement each other. FBrf0226419 shows that l(4)102CDd[2] is really a deletion (‘Df(4)BH’) that deletes/disrupts 10 genes. It is not known whether the l(4)102CDd[1] allele is a single lethal inside ‘Df(4)BH’, disrupting one the 10 genes affected by this deletion, or also a deletion itself that disrupts multiple genes.
