Lethal in combination with Df(1)N-8 at both 18oC and 29oC. Homozygous lethal at both 18oC and 29oC. Homozygotes do not reach the late pupal stage. Wings are normal in heterozygotes. 5% of Nl1N-69e/Nl1N-ts1 flies survive at 29oC. Phenotypes seen include small, rough eyes and stubby legs. 27% of Nl1N-69e/NAx-tsl flies survive at 29oC. Phenotypes seen include small eyes which are sometimes rough and an abruptex phenotype.
