Deep pseudopupil score of 4, when raised at 29oC, no phenotype at 18oC. At 18oC ninaE product Rh1 levels are normal, although ninaA levels are 5-10% of wild type. At 29oC Rh1 is dramatically reduced.

This particular substitution was isolated independently twice. Analogous amino acid replacement in rat homologue is temperature sensitive for prolyl cis/trans isomerase activity.

Forms a stable complex with P{Rh1-His} at the permissive temperature and fails to bind at the non-permissive temperature.
