Description

Sequence of a cDNA from ref(2)Pn was compared to the sequence of ref(2)Pp, and the only difference found was that the 21bp deletion of ref(2)Pp was not evident in ref(2)Pn. A CGC in the not-deleted 21bp corresponds to a CGC in the ref(2)Po2 allele, which is an AGC in ref(2)Po1.

Comment:

One of several differences between permissive ref(2)Po and restrictive ref(2)Pn strains.

Comment:

Replaced with "GGA" in ref(2)Pn strain which is restrictive for sigma virus replication. One of several differences between permissive ref(2)Po and restrictive ref(2)Pn strains.

Comment:

One of several differences between permissive ref(2)Po and restrictive ref(2)Pn strains.

Comment:

Deletion of 24bp in ref(2)Pn strain which is restrictive for sigma virus replication. One of several differences between permissive ref(2)Po and restrictive ref(2)Pn strains.
