      Wings are unexpanded to various degrees, and the membrane is never fully stretched. The direction of bristles is anomalous, particularly the postverticals which frequently lie flattened across the head. The degree of derangement of the bristles is positively correlated with the degree of unexpansion of the wings. Males and females are viable and fertile.

      RK2. Wings variably unexpanded. Bristles deranged; postverticals frequently crossed. Derangement of bristles correlated with degree of wing abnormality. Viability and fertility good in both sexes.
