      Su(y3P)/+ suppresses In(1)y3P to about normal color, except that wings remain yellowish. In(1)y3P; Su(y3P)/Su(y3P) is darker than wild type but wings remain yellow. May be suppression of variegation since extra Y chromosomes also suppress In(1)y3P. No effect on y, y2, y2S, y3d, y4, y35a, or ytd. Homozygote has low viability and fertility; occasionally, wings held out from body. RK2.
