      Eye abnormality varies from tiny facetless nick in anterior eye rim plus a horizontal seam of irregular facets to a large indentation in the anterior eye margin. Large tuft of bristles often found in facetless eye area. Penetrance in terU about 94% at 16-25oC. Viability good, but terU/terU homozygotes show lower hatching rate than terU/+ heterozygotes.
