RK2. Macrochaetae are thinner than normal, and not very reduced in length in the male. Expression of the phenotype is more extreme in homozygous females. Vibrissae are occasionally abnormal and the eye is sometimes slightly rough. Wing vein L5 is occasionally faint or completely missing beyond the posterior crossvein, which is itself occasionally absent. Viability and fertility is reduced in females.
