The vgNo2/+ phenotype is much more extreme than vgNo1/+ or Df(2R)vg-S; the wing is reduced in size as well as notched and is cut to a strap-like shape. Some variation in this phenotype is seen. Homozygotes are wingless, with a slightly more extreme phenotype than vgNo1 homozygotes.
