      Act88F6 null flies homozygous for Act88FE364K insert have almost normal flight ability, flies carrying one mutant copy are flightless. Indirect flight muscles in Act88F6 homozygous for Act88FE364K insert have a very disrupted structure.

      IFM myofibrils are studied in transformant Act88F6 mutants. Mutants produce no fibrillar material at all.
