    Description

    Steady state level of Adh mRNA is greatly reduced.

    Insertion of 8 extra bases in intron 2.

    Insertion of 8 bases in two groups of four in intron 2 that disrupt its correct splicing. In addition there are 13 single base alterations compared with the consensus sequence. These changes are also found in AdhnAH52, the only exception is a substitution of a T for a G at position 986 in exon 2 generating a stop codon.
