      Heat induced expression does not affect gastric caecae development.

      Single heat shock during third larval instar has no effect on either wild type or gl null mutants. Multiple short heat shocks beginning in the third larval instar causes gl null mutants to die as pupae, though the few pharate adults show somewhat rescued gl phenotype.
