      Phenotype assayed in mature embryos after 20mins heat shock at 37oC, 6-7 hours after egg laying: strong Scr phenotype demonstrated by moderate head involution defect and ectopic beards in T2 and T3. Phenotype assayed in pharate adult heads after six heat shocks at 37oC for 60 mins, at four hour intervals from 69 +/- 0.5hr to 88 +/- 0.5hr after egg laying: partial transformation of the arista into tarsal structures, strong reduction of eyes and Cephalothorax-like transformation of the occiput.
