Phenotype assayed in pharate adult heads after six heat shocks at 37oC for 60 mins, at four hour intervals from 69 +/- 0.5hr to 88 +/- 0.5hr after egg laying: transformation of the entire antenna into mesothoracic leg structures carrying leg-specific bristles with bracts, and often with the T2 leg-characteristic apical bristles at the end of the tibia.
