        Maxillary palps exhibit abnormal recovery kinetics following odorant stimulation: slow recovery. Wild type rdgB (provided by Dp(1;Y)g+) rescues the recovery kinetics.

        Abnormal olfactory behaviour and defective response in olfactory jump assay. Olfactory attraction response is reduced across a range of adorant concentrations. EAG defect. Mutant phenotype can be rescued by Dp(1;Y)g+ but not Dp(1;Y)na+.
