      Viable as a homozygote or a hemizygote. Strong thoracic bristle and wing hair phenotype. Percentage of dorsal wing surface cells that display abnormal cell polarity and the percentage of wing cells forming more than one hair is more severe at 18oC than 29oC. An additional rare wing phenotype is seen, some wings cells appear larger, possibly polyploid.
