Description

AE enhancer element of ftz regulatory region from base pair 2224 to base pair 2542 governing expression of lacZ from a minimal Hsp70 promoter (enhancer element coordinates refer to location within ftz upstream element, FBrf0048801).

Double deletion within the ftz 430bp autoregulatory element (AE) removes binding sites A1-3 and D, this deleted upstream region drives lacZ expression from a minimal Hsp70 promoter.
