      Animals expressing knihs.PR using heat shock during the early pupal stages develop an ectopic wing vein which runs parallel and anterior to vein L2.

      Heat induced embryos exhibit fusion of abdominal segment 7 and 8 and the thoracic segment to abdominal segment 1. Posterior terminal structures are missing or partially deleted.
