      Tetramerised Yp1 r enhancer is sufficient to activate nearly ubiquitous expression in both sexes. By itself it is not responsible for either the sex or fat body specificity of the o-r enhancer but in the context of o-r it becomes an obligatory component in sex and fat body specific expression.
