Dmau\mariner\TMos1 transposase is driven by a chimeric Sgs3 promoter juxtaposed with the germline specific enhancer of Hsp26.
Construct: Dmau\mariner\T coding region is expressed from a basal Sgs3 promoter under the control of the Hsp26 transcriptional regulator.
In the presence of a copy of P{hsp26-Sgs3:Mos1}, the rate of germline excision of M{peach} from P{M{peach}wpch} is 19.9% (tested in D.melanogaster).
Expression of Dtei\mariner\TDTBZ1.hs using heat shock results in a small but not significant reduction in the rate of germline excision of M{peach} from P{M{peach}wpch} caused by P{hsp26-Sgs3:Mos1} (tested in D.melanogaster). Expression of Hirr\Himar1\Ths.PL using heat shock does not result in a reduction in the rate of germline excision of M{peach} from P{M{peach}wpch} caused by P{hsp26-Sgs3:Mos1} (tested in D.melanogaster).
