      The myofibrillar and sarcomeric structures of the indirect flight muscle (IFM) of Mlc2E38 flies carrying Mlc2S67A appear normal. The flight index of these flies is 5.4 +/- 0.9. The wingbeat frequency of these flies is 207 +/- 7 s-1.
