      In the presence of Scer\GAL430A individuals exhibit axis bifurcation and transformation of anterior wing hinge. The supernumerary wing in the hinge region has wing veins 1 and 2. In the presence of Scer\GAL4vg.PM individuals exhibit partial duplication of anterior compartment pattern elements including formation of ectopic wing vein 3 anterior to the endogenous vein 2 and transformation of anterior wing margin bristles to vein 2 and 3 identity. Partial transformation of posterior wing margin to anterior identity. Complete anterior to posterior transformation of the wing hinge shown as duplication of the axial cord and alula.
