      T2 and T3 denticle belts are unaffected but T1 in reduced in size/missing. Ventrally, abdominal segments are transformed towards the thoracic, as judged by the appearance of ventral pits. Dorsal-lateral epidermis in abdominal and thoracic segments is somewhat transformed towards an A8 identity, causing ectopic filzkorper and perispiracular hairs.
