Carried in helper plasmid "pKHSHH" and used as a source of Mdoa\Hermes transposase in a plasmid-based transposable element excision assay.

Carried in helper plasmid "pKHSHH" and used a a source of Mdoa\Hermes transposase in a plasmid-based Mdoa\Hermes transposition assay. The helper plasmid is injected together with donor and target plasmids into preblastoderm D.melanogaster embryos. Plasmid DNA is recovered and introduced into bacteria. Mdoa\Hermes transposition events are detected by testing for kanamycin and chloramphenicol resistance, ampicillin sensitivity and lacZ expression.

Carried in plasmid pHSHH1.9 and used as a source of Mdoa\Hermes transposase in germline transformation experiments.

Carried in helper plasmid "pKHSHH" and used as a source of Mdoa\Hermes transposase in a plasmid-based Mdoa\Hermes transposition assay. The helper plasmid is injected together with donor and target plasmids into preblastoderm embryos of D.melanogaster. Plasmid DNA is recovered and introduced into bacteria. Mdoa\Hermes transposition events are detected by selecting simultaneously for kanamycin and chloramphenicol resistance.
