Description

sev promoter and 3 tandem copies of the sev enhancer drives expression of the Delta intracellular domain (amino acids 619-832). The coding sequence is tagged at the C-terminal end with three copies of Tag:MYC. The expressed protein was expected to be soluble, but it is localized to the nucleus (likely due to the presence of consensus nuclear localization signal present in the Delta sequence just downstream of the transmembrane sequence).
