Description

0.4kb fragment of the Hsp70 promoter drives the expression of a 1.0kb PstI ClaI P\T fragment from Ecol\lacZP\T.1911-2150.hs (containing the third intron(IVS3) and flanking exons) which in turn is fused in frame to a 3.4kb ClaI XhoI fragment carrying the 3' half of Ecol\lacZ fused to Tn\neoR (Friedrich and Soriano, 1991, Genes Dev 5: 1513-1523).
