Description

Two tandem copies of a 480bp eve stripe 2 enhancer fragment (containing five high-affinity bcd-binding sites) are fused to an eve promoter fragment (from -42bp to +80bp) which is separated from a kni cDNA by an FRT cassette containing an Hsp70 3' transcription termination signal. An 800bp fragment containing the αTub84B 3' untranslated region (UTR) is fused to the 3' end of the kni cDNA fragment.
