Phenotype is very similar to that of ex^Scer\UAS.cBa. When expression is driven by Scer\GAL4^32B in an otherwise wild type background the wing area is severely reduced. There is greater size reduction between L2 and L3 than anywhere else. Reduction in size is due to reduced cell number, not size. Some wings show ectopic anterior crossveins, with delta-like wing veins and notched wing margins appearing at lower frequencies.
