Description

The w gene sequences are interrupted by yΔ0-53. The portion of the w gene, up to the beginning of the y gene, has converted to the sequence of wΔ0. A single P-element 5' end lies immediately on the other side of yΔ0-53, followed by approximately 1000bp of unidentified sequence after which the w gene resumes as whd80k17 i.e. remains unconverted.
