Description

A stop codon has been inserted just C-terminal to the last EGF-like repeat, approximately 250 amino acids upstream of the transmembrane domain. Three copies of Tag:MYC have been added to the carboxy-terminus, and expression is driven by a GMR promoter.

      Rough eye phenotype. Irregular ommatidial shape, occasional ommatidial fusion, duplication of bristles. Number of photoreceptor cells is reduced, with R7 most commonly missing. Lens is smoothened over the ommatidia. Phenotype is enhanced by loss of function Dl and gain of function Su(H) mutations.
