      With 5-HTP treatment, daily sleep and night-time sleep bout length are increased in Pka-C1hs.PD mutant flies, compared to controls where daily sleep is increased but there is no change in night-time sleep bout length.

      Flies carrying Pka-C1hs.PD show a decrease in 4 hour memory after a 1 hour heat shock compared to heat shocked wild-type flies. Heat shock induced expression of Pka-C1hs.PD does not reduce odour avoidance behaviour or alter reaction to electric shock.
