The threads lampbrush loop is modified.
The morphology of the threads and pseudonucleus Y chromosomal lampbrush loops is abnormal in the primary spermatocytes of homozygous males. Spermatid nuclei of unequal size are seen in homozygous males, suggesting that male meiosis is irregular. The number of Nebenkerne is reduced. Spermatid development arrests at early elongation.
