spermatid & nucleus
Spermatid nuclei of unequal size are seen in homozygous males, suggesting that male meiosis is irregular. The number of Nebenkerne is reduced. The partitioning of the Nebenkern, which normally leads to two asymmetrical Nebenkern-derivatives, is impaired. Shaping and condensation of the spermatid nucleus is abnormal. Development of the protein body is abnormal.
